Inspiration through Travel
Back in February, I was lucky enough to meet this local artist while traveling through Indonesia. I was sitting at a restaurant when I saw him looking over with a sketch pad. I sat down next to him and came to realize he was sketching me from afar. We talked and I learned his story as a self-made artist. We then spent the rest of the night sketching in a crowded bar. He and his friends taught me new techniques while we shared stories and laughed. It's times like these that inspire me as a designer.
